3 Free Summer Colour Palettes
It’s summer time here in the UK and like traditional British weather, it’s hardly sunny and warm out there! Hello cloud and grey skies :( Though we can pretend it’s summer with these beautiful summery colour palettes I’m going to share with you today. No matter where you are in the world or what the weather is doing, we can feel like it’s summer with the use of some bright fresh colours.
So let’s dive in and look at 3 summer colour palettes I’ve made just for you! Below each colour palette I’ve shown on one my patterns recoloured with the colour palette, so you can see how it works on an actual pattern and how the colours can make the pattern have a different feel to them.
This colour palette called ‘Breeze’ is a classic example of a summer palette. The colours are fresh and vibrant with a few lighter neutral colours. perfect for baby and children’s prints as well as summer dresses, skirts, tops and bags.
This palette called ‘Summer Magic’ is a much softer delicate feeling palette because of the pastel pink and peach. It is a very pretty colour palette and would suit many prints particularly women’s clothing and bags.
This colour palette called ‘Sunny’ is much brighter as the yellow and orange are vivid and saturated. Great for summer prints which need that pop of colour to make them stand out.
